Duties & Responsibilities Performing software application development and support Researching and applying software development design patterns Applying design disciplines including Object-Oriented Design and Analysis ad Domain-Driven Design Leveraging common architectural styles and patterns (Layered, Clean, CRUD, CQRS, etc.) Applying quality software engineering techniques and practices including automated unit testing, Test Driven Design/Development, Java performance analysis, and continuous integration Performing problem and modification identification, classification, and prioritization Performing detailed analysis of modifications to determine impact, feasibility, and alternatives Designing modifications and executing software solutions; Testing software applications as required when changes are made to the application, its infrastructure, or interfacing systems Providing modifications as part of a software release package for installation in the operational environment Ensuring data quality and performing data management Creating and performing maintenance of system documentation and artifacts Conducting disaster recovery testing; and providing support of critical production issues. Requirements Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 5 years of experience in a software engineering position. 5 years of experience working with Java, Javascript, and SQL. Must have experience working with Netbeans, Eclipse, MySQL, or similar software editing tools in order to manipulate and manage data. Must have experience working with Apache Struts or similar frameworks. Must have experience providing support for critical production issues. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
