Customer Resiliency Marketing - Principal Associate

We're looking for an individual to drive marketing campaigns, creative strategy and learning agendas across multiple channels for our customers who need extra support. Customer Resiliency is where excellence meets empathy -- with human-centric marketing and customer experiences, we generate value for our business and help our struggling customers succeed. The Customer Resiliency Marketing team aims to drive engagement and repayment by developing outbound and inbound communication strategies and building end-to-end offer enrollment, servicing, and graduation experiences. To be successful, the candidate will need to build influential relationships and exercise storytelling abilities across the organization. The ideal candidate will also have a passion to utilize marketing technology.

  • Define market research and customer intelligence projects with internal teams and external vendors to harvest insights and inform campaigns
  • Analyze business results, marketplace trends and consumer insights to inform/advance marketing strategy
  • Translate and communicate business goals into effective creative briefs, learning agendas and test plans
  • Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel (both owned and paid channels), marketing campaigns to drive digital enrollment, offer acceptance and balance repayment
  • Manage creative development (with internal creative teams or agency partners) to ensure marketing is on-brand, high quality, aligned to our strategic intent and delivered on schedule
  • Participate as the marketing lead in collaborative cross-functional teams (business partners, creative teams, legal, compliance, etc.)
  • Manage multiple projects and navigate changing priorities while staying focused on delivering excellent results
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met

The Ideal Candidate
  • Has experience leading marketing efforts in large organizations, along with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detailed-oriented with strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with a variety of marketing channels (eg: email, mobile app, digital channels, website, and/or tech platform marketing)
  • Is able to structure analytical requests and interpret results
  • Is able to combine analytics and qualitative data to form a marketing strategy and approach
  • Is able to break a strategy down into a testing plan that accelerates momentum and speed to market
  • Is a self-starter, can lead projects independently and has desire to build new skills
  • Thrives on collaboration, the opportunity to build in white space and the drive for results
  • Budding people leader

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Military experience
  • At least 5 years in brand strategy, product or digital marketing with experience in managing multiple channels on agency or client-side
  • At least 5 years of experience in planning, executing and analyzing marketing programs
  • At least 5 years of experience managing creative processes, partnering with creative teams and developing creative optimization frameworks

Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
  • At least 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing for financial services or another highly regulated industry
  • At least 2 years of experience driving optimization plans and creative strategy
  • At least 2 years of experience working with marketing tech platforms, including data management platforms
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Data Management Platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of the Google Suite (Docs, Slides and Sheets)
