International HR and Foreign Payroll Assistant
Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: NoneJob Family: HR Business PartnersGDIT has a new opportunity on their International Payroll team for an International HR and Foreign Payroll Assistant. The position offers 100% telecommuting in the Washington, DC area provided the selected candidate is able and willing to come to our Falls Church office periodically once Covid restrictions are lifed.You will support to the administration of the Foreign Employee Workforce and the International Human Resources (IHR) team at GDIT. The position will support HR services for 25+ countries. This role will include supporting the administration of HR and foreign payroll programs. Main responsibilities include administration and processing of employee records and data entry, employment offers, leave and compensation administration, monthly and biweekly foreign payrolls data collection, maintenance of the records of foreign payrolls/mailbox, and other duties as assigned in the execution for HR and foreign payroll administration.Duties include:Maintain records and process personnel actions (employment documents, benefits, payroll etc), in appropriate HRIS, Shared Network folders, and SharePoint, in compliance with company policy and local labor laws;Assures timely and accurate completion of all required hiring and payroll documents;HR data entry;Ensure out-of-cycle payments (ie bonuses (13th month, referral), awards documentation is submitted and processed accurately;Assist in maintaining reports for monthly submissions to internal and external parties;Monitor group mailboxes and distribute to team members, as appropriate;Address and escalate incoming questions, as appropriate;Draft employment offers and related on/off-boarding activities;Invoice tracking and follow up with responsible approvers;Some meeting coordination and calendar management;Back-up support to other IHR team members for other duties.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration PLUS 1 year relevant experience in human resources, payroll (preferably non-U.S.), or other related functional department.Required SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Required Technical Skills: MS Office, HRIS (prefer Workday), SharePoint and other records and collaboration systemsStrong organizational, time management, and communication (written and verbal) skills.Nice-to-have language Skills:Fluency in a foreign language (preferred Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic and/or Dutch)COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: To protect the health and safety of its employees and to comply with customer requirements, GDIT may require employees in certain positions to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
