Restaurant Assistant Manager The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in all aspects of the restaurant operations. The main focus of this position is to lead the Front-of-House and Back-of-House teams and organize daily operations of restaurants operations with the goal of controlling costs and providing a high-quality experience for customers. Other focuses include back-office work, personnel management, and inventory management. Responsibilities: Assist the General Manager with Overall Restaurant operations Will run shifts to assist the GM and assist the kitchen Appoint tasks and responsibilities to other managers and team members Ensure policies are upheld and report concerns to the General Manager Assist with financial forecasting (P&L, Sales, Budgets, etc.) Train, coach, and utilize corrective action when necessary Other typical responsibilities to ensure ease of operations Back-office work, personnel management, and inventory management Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities Qualifications: At least 4+years' experience as an AM in full service, preferably fine dining Must have kitchen experience Familiar with various financial reports, budgeting, etc. Experience with training, coaching, and corrective action Outstanding work ethic Polished, Guest-focused and Service-driven Demonstrated leadership skills Desire to be a part of a winning team Fine dining experience is preferred but not required.
