The Senior Electrical Engineer possesses the ability to coordinate with internal and external parties, manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities and direct the work of others. The Senior Electrical Engineer may work independently or at the direction of the Lead Electrical Engineer or Project Manager. The Sr. Electrical Engineer has the ability to manage and direct electrical design staff to meet client expectations and project goals.ResponsibilitiesInterface with client and external partnersPlan and direct work and manage a project budget form an electrical design perspective on large complex projectsIdentify and resolve intermediate non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveysDevelop intermediate internal electrical design and engineering training presentationsLead and advanced support of construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch listDevelopment, and construction progress reportsConduct quality checking of documents for intermediate complex projects, eg technical verification of design calculations and documentation, and drive overall project qualityProvide mentorship to Electrical Engineer I and II and/or Designer I and IILead advanced project system design programming and master planning with support from Senior EngineerLead a team of discipline staff in the execution of advanced projects electrical design and EngineeringWork with a Project Manager to proposal development, man-hour planning, project scheduling for the electrical discipline scope of work on intermediate level projects.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a design firm settingProfessional RegistrationAdditional QualificationsAdvanced knowledge of GMP manufacturing environmentsAdvanced experience with performing engineering calculations, and developing and implementing electrical lighting, power, and special systems designsAdvanced experience with the electrical codeIntermediate experience with applicable building codesAdvanced experience conducting and leading field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reportingProficient with advanced internal and external cross-discipline project team coordinationProficient with advanced coordination with construction trade partners, vendors, and manufacturersProficient at advanced electrical lighting, power, and special systems design calculations with limited supervisionIntermediate experience with troubleshooting issues with electrical and systemsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.CRB is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
