A&A ManagerThe Assurance Manager reports directly to the Sr. Managers and Partners of the firm. Our managers oversee, mentor, and develop staff, and will be the primary lead on client engagements assigned. A&A Managers will focus on the following: Audit and Accounting Task Management Engagement Management Staff Supervision, Training and Development Personal and Professional DevelopmentAssurance Managers drive client engagements, review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, work papers, management letters, agreed upon procedures and other attestation engagements. They demonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operations. At this level, managers effectively analyze client transactions, recognizing and resolving potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consulting. Managers accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete tasks assigned.Required Experience:Education: BS/ BA Accounting; CPA requiredMinimum 5+ years audit & accounting experience in a public accounting arena or at a government contractorExcellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, GASB, and PCAOB rules and standardsExceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationshipsStrong leadership, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skillsComputer expertise including knowledge of audit-preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technologyStrong research skillProven technical skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams; Audit software, CCH Access, Workstream, experience a plusExceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task to meet deadlinesSolid understanding of industry specific audit issues relating to organizational issues and attest services in any of the following areas; financial statement audit (Not-for-profit, governmental & For profit, preferred), regulatory compliance, due diligence and structuring, process and controls, or assertions and agreementsStrong financial statement audit backgroundCreative Solutions experience preferredEngagement and PPC experiencePayroll and sales tax experience preferredExcellent communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detailExperience working in a small to mid-sized public accounting firmPowered by JazzHRlqiz0FHYVY
