This will be a remote based position with occasional travel. This role is responsible for the core financial processes and systems while supplying support to the CFO and Finance Director as required. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to take that next step in their career and manage responsibilities across a wide variety of opportunities while having a passion for technology, blockchain, crypto and startups.Monitors: revenue and expenses, expenditure variance analysis, coordinating financial data; and preparing special reportsManages: month & end-year processes, accounts payable/receivable, intercompany transaction, capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity & debt activityAnalysis and reporting of all crypto transactions by Blockchain and to BlockchainEstablish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactionsMonitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reportsMeet financial accounting objectivesCompletes audits, identifies trends, determines system improvements, and implements changeMaintains accounting controls, general ledger and prepares an annual budgetMaintains financial security by establishing internal controlsUnderstands current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new proceduresGuides others by providing knowledge and support on accounting policyImplement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial informationEstablish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles with the help of the bookkeeping partnerMaintain relationship with local bookkeeping and tax partnersRequirements5-7 years accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Relevant qualifications (CPA, CMA, CIA or ACCA, etc.)Previous working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance ManagerProven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulationsExtensive knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP accounting principlesUnderstanding of digital assets, major blockchain protocols and their accounting treatmentSolid experience with a technology startup in the cryptocurrency, data center, and/or cloud compute segmentsAbility to support teams with aa global presence Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlinesAbility to manipulate large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracyAdvanced computer skills with MS Office/G-SuiteExperience working with cloud based accounting software and databases, such as XeroAbility to work independently (remote), manage large workloads, and keep deadlinesBenefitsW3BCLOUD is a joint venture between Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD), a leading high-performance computing, graphics and visualization technologies company, and ConsenSys, the leading blockchain software development and product company.
