Overview: Field Sales Brand Ambassadors Needed to promote Samsung Electronics America, In-Store!2020 Companies has partnered with Samsung Electronics America to hire tech-savvy Sales Brand Ambassadors for up to a 18-week seasonal program. This full-time temporary role will be responsible for driving sales and maximizing retail success. With minimal management oversight, this role will build brand awareness and advocacy with both retail sales personnel and consumers. Through training and consumer facing activities, the Brand Ambassador will be accountable for driving product awareness, sales, and improving the consumer journey within the assigned territory.Day-in-the-Life as a Samsung Field Sales Brand Ambassador:Work Wednesday - SundayTravel within assigned territory to physically visit various retailers with majority of visits being remote/work from home virtual interactionsBuild Partnerships and TrustThrough one-to-one and group ensure all retailer sales personnel are highly knowledgeable on the unique selling points of Samsung devices and are actively recommending Samsung devices to consumersEnsure Samsungs retail brand standards are maintained by regularly inspecting all Samsung branded displays and marketing materialsConduct meetings with store management or district managers within assigned territoryEnsure any needs of the store are escalated back to Field Operations or National ManagerWhats in it for youCompetitive hourly rate, paid weeklyUp to $27.00 per hour depending on experience and geographic market locationOne-time bonus based on objectives met and completion of the programPaid training completed virtually on personal computerEligible for $30 cell phone/internet reimbursementPrimary focus on conducting in-store visits Tuesday through SaturdayPaid travel and mileage when physically visiting storesThis position and potential offer of employment is contingent on your compliance with the customers requirement that all employees in this position be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to our accommodation review process.Driving SalesEnhance the Samsung brand experience for consumersBe the in-store resource to answer questions, discuss product features and provide hands-on demonstrationsIdentify training gaps within territory of retailers and assign time to facilitate one on one and group training for Sales AssociatesPrimary focus on in-store visits and training to ensure all retailer sales personnel are highly knowledgeable on the unique selling points of Samsung devicesConduct smaller scale consumer engagement events in store focusing on top revenue locationsMerchandisingEnsure Samsung's retail brand standards are maintained by inspecting branded displays and marketing materialsConduct survey of in-store branded fixtures and displays and record findings in SalesforceConfirm display devices are clean, functional, and available for customers to usePartner with store leaders on solutions for pricing or merchandising issuesExecutes merchandising changes and resets including placement or removal of devices, marketing material and POPUtilize provided Samsung tool kit to facilitate merchandising adjustments and log corrected issuesMarket IntelligenceProvide insight into marketplace trends of territory retailersCollect consumer insights weekly and report in SalesforceGather intelligence from stores that are exceeding sales performance with goal of scaling best practicesInquire and validate retail data on competitor pricing, incentives, promotions, and customer preference or sentiment Job Contact: Duties and Responsibilities: Job DescriptionDrive sales productivity through high quality, end-to-end direct salesDeliver and communicate key promotional and product launch materialsSchedule and participate in direct sales and demonstration eventsCreate consumer awareness and product brand preference at the retail store level though training, assisted sales and merchandisingBuild and maintain brand presence through increased shelf space and product placementEffectively assess and communicate on-site needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral, etc.Educate customers and retail associates and make product recommendationsEffectively train retail associates to conduct quality sales presentations and customer demonstrationsBuild effective professional relationships on behalf of 2020 and client at both the store and customer levelMeet or exceed personal sales productivity goals and key metrics on a monthly basisAdvise customers by providing information and qualify on products and servicesAccurately document and report sales, schedules, activities and best practicesResponsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to program management and/or Retail Operations as appropriateResponsible for submitting all paperwork completely and accuratelyPerformance Measurements:Visit one or multiple store locations on a daily and weekly basis based on route and territoryEffectively demonstrate an on-going ability to establish, maintain and influence business relationships through increased shelf space, product placement and consistent productivityRecord and maintain appropriate documentation for each location visitQualifications:Bachelor Degree preferred; minimum 2-years of higher-education required3+ years previous retail sales experience with strong emphasis in the areas of product training and demonstrations, retail concepts, merchandising and display assemblyExcellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsAbility to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needsAbility to perform independently in an unstructured work environmentMust have and maintain reliable transportation and state-required minimum liability automobile insurance coverageDaily travel required
