**Description:**The Building Equipment Mechanic job normally includes, but is not limited to: Operating, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing failures inboilers, chillers, pumps, air handlers, refrigeration equipment, emergency generators, fire alarm systems and their associated areas, controlsand distribution systems whether it be electrical, pneumatic, plumbing or chemical. Operating a centralized energy management systemincluding compiling temperature, humidity, kilowatt hour demand and water usage data. Providing general maintenance and repair workthroughout the hospital facility which enhances the general appearance and assures safe working conditions of all hospital related equipment.I.E. diagnosing and repairing problems with equipment on the nursing units, surgical suite, Food and Nutrition Services, electrical circuits andswitch gear.**Qualifications and Experience:**Ability to read and comprehend complex blue prints which will include electrical, mechanical, architectural and plumbing drawings.Current Stationary Third Grade Engineers License.High School graduate or equivalent.Minimum of one to five (1 - 5) years institution maintenance experience with salary being commensurate to level of experience.Valid state driver's license with satisfactory driving record.**Skills:**hvac, plumbing, electrical, boilers, chillers, troubleshooting, disgnosing, maintaining, preventative maintenance, air handlers, pneumatics, fire alarms**Top Skills Details:**hvac,plumbing,electrical,boilers,chillers,troubleshooting,disgnosing,maintaining,preventative maintenance**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
