NDi seeks an Subject Matter Expert in Voice over IP Communications with 10+ years experience architecting, designing, securing and protecting network systems, specifically voice networks. This resource will join the Engineering team to address an outdated telephony system for our federal government customer. Responsibilities Coordinate with all engineering assignments for VoIP enterprises, planning technology roadmaps, designing all VoIP/IP-PBX telephone devices along both internal and external requirements for an organization. Also, the VoIP Engineer will be required to keep SLAs for all organizational IP telephony applications. Coordinate with technicians and execute installation along with relocations of several technology solutions within the network. Analyze customer requisite for advanced services and coordinate with companies and develop suitable voice solutions for clients. Plan the specified designs per customer's requirements and deliver quick enterprise solutions. Provide support for SIP- and TDM-based software installations with enhanced media gateways. Troubleshoot voice services for all LAN and WAN hardware components and configure correct communication media segments. Perform lab testing, design, and architecture work. Track competent working multifaceted projects. Ensure compliance to infrastructure standards. Analyze the customized product in association with the third party, if needed, for enhancing the VoIP network services. Plan the network capacity for the system and perform troubleshooting on the existing network. Implement research technologies and evaluate the work of the support technician. Monitor IP and PBX servers for their functionalities. Experience with computer science, digital audio hardware, and VoIP software to install cutting-edge technologies. They also work with information technology (IT) professionals and system administrators to explain the functionality of VoIP. The candidate should be tech savvy with a strength in research to resolve technial challenges without much oversight or guidance. Experience working in system agnostic environments but with a strong emphasis on Cisco and Avaya technologies. Education/Experience Master's Degree or Advanced Degree or Expert Level Certifications: Minimum 10 years' experience Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) - Collaboration Avaya Certified Expert (ACE) US Citizen; Must obtain a Public Trust ClearanceTemporarily remote due to Covid
