Description Junior Accountant ~ College Park, MD hybrid $60k, plus bonus, great benefits, 401(k), growing company! My client is a mission-based nonprofit located in the College Park, MD with a newly created role for a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and will be in a rotational training program for all operational accounting duties, including payables, receivables, payroll, account reconciliations, and general accounting. The Junior Accountant must have a BA/BA in Accounting, Business, or Finance. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:. Processing full cycle accounts payable . Accurately reviews, verifies, codes, and processes invoices, requisitions, and reimbursement requests into accounting software. Investigates and resolves any payment and accounting issues as they arise. Processing bi-weekly employee payroll . Assist with credit card and bank reconciliations by compiling all pertinent documentations (receipts, contracts, payment confirmations, etc.).
