Description Full Charge Bookkeeper ~Food & Beverage Industry DC area$70k, plus benefits, flexible work schedule/great work life balanceMy client is a leading provider in the Food & Beverage industry with a newly created role for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will report the CFO and be responsible for preparing financials and managing all operational accounting. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will interact with General Managers and provide guidance and recommendations of improvements for the Department. Candidates with experience using QuickBooks are highly encouraged to apply. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for the following duties:* Full life-cycle accounting - Receive, review, and accurately record all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.* Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow analysis* Perform bank reconciliations, accounting, client billing, collections* Develop, implement and maintain internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.* Develop, implement and maintain chart of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.* Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology; QuickBooks Online.* Develop, maintain, and prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.* Perform accurate and timely Bank Reconciliations.* Coordinate and assist other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.* Advise management on short-term and long-term Accounting objectives, policies, and actions.All interested candidates in the Full Charge Bookkeeper opportunity and other fulltime opportunities in Accounting Operations please call 202-626-0280.
