Working here is an unbelievable privilege and it will be something I carry with me for the rest of my life!"Sunrise Team MemberAt Sunrise, our Lead Cook is responsible for serving the residents in our community, while ensuring all special dietary needs are met and prepare texture modified food as directed.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Performing and coordinating food preparation so that food meets and/or exceeds quality, quantity and service schedule requirements and hospitality service standards for the communityCoordinating and supervising shift operationsControlling food costs and inventoryHandling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food productionQualifications:Maintains current Food Services Sanitation certificateAssociates Degree in Culinary Arts preferredOne (1) year experience as a cook in a Senior Living Community preferredAbility to handle multiple prioritiesPossess written and verbal skills for effective communicationCompetent in organizational, time management skillsDemonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skillsSunrise considers the health and safety of its residents, family members, and team members as its highest priorities.
