Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems' Life Cycle Sustainment Operations (LCSO) group is seeking an Electronics Assembler Associate to support electronics manufacturing, assembly, repair, and final preparation of units. This position is located in Elkridge, Maryland.The following are the roles and responsibilities, but are not limited to:Work in a repair shop catering to electronics repairs as well as low volume production runs.Validate all work for compliance to drawing specifications and applicable quality standards.Use SAP to check open QN's and operationsRefer to QAD's for work instructionsReview units for damageCheck for FODVerify and update required markingsClean and paint touch upWork independently with minimal guidance from higher classified personnel or from detailed drawing information and to applicable quality standards.Basic Qualifications:High school graduate or recognized equivalentCertification in Military Specification Soldering (such as IPC J-STD) or an industrial equivalent.Understanding and working knowledge of computers.Minimum 3 years' experience as an electronics assemblerExperience in wiring, soldering operations, and Surface Mount solderingThe ability to obtain a US Secret Level security clearance is required, US Citizenship is a prerequisite.Preferred Qualifications:Surface Mount Solder Certification 27S.MANUMSSalary Range: 42848 - 99621Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
