We are ISO 9001:2008, ISO 20000-1:2018, ISO 27001:2013 certified and appraised for CMMI ML3 for Services and Development.Link Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our growing team in Washington, DC.NOT A REMOTE POSITION - Relocation bonus for the right candidate.Senior Enterprise Architect responsible for identifying and evaluating emerging software and hardware technologies, ensuring that new technologies are aligned with the organization's business and target enterprise architecture, providing recommendations and policies for integrating new technologies into the enterprise, and championing the technologies adoption once approved.The Enterprise Architect will collaborate across multiple branches to align application strategies with business strategies and create roadmaps, architectural documents, process documents, and governance documents that define the strategy. As needed, the EA will review projects to adjust and align them with architectural governance policies. The EA will also research, analyze, and document various tools, technology, framework, and other architectural-related topics, as needed.Key Responsibilities:Leads advisory services, strategic planning activities, and business case development within government agency and across internal organizations.Provides technical oversight for technical estimates created with standards tools, portfolio Work Breakdown Structures, statements of work, and industry-standard estimating techniques.Architects complete solutions using appropriate government agency offerings with design elements that allow integration into the client environment.Refines and optimizes architectural models and reviews the architectural artifacts produced by junior architects. Responsible for creating architectural prototypes as required.Adheres to and promotes appropriate design processes, architectural artifact requirements, and architectural best practices.Maintains knowledge of technologies, industry trends, standards, and design techniques.Works with client stakeholders to evaluate the solution requirements and supports the management and traceability of requirements during the engagementProvides project oversight and acts as a subject matter expert resource to clients on government agency processes, required products, product configuration, solution integration, implementation methodologies, resource requirements, and implementation timelines.Interfaces to all levels of the client's organization on solution implementation progress, technical issues, proper practices, and technical requirements.Collaborates with architect peers to efficiently resolve design issues, improve design quality and share high-quality information, as well as to define enterprise-level design standards, best practices, and processes.May assign and review tasks, mentor junior architects, manage performance feedback, and create development plans consistent with performing the role of team leader or project managerWorking experience with NetOps systems and components to include the following: Remote Access, IA Security, Virtualization, Lab Facility, Asset Control/Logistics, Backup/Restore, Storage, Network, Test Coordination (SV&T)Different skills sets will draw from and contribute to project testingMicrosoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft VisioSoftware Delivery, Operating System Deployment, Patch Management, Reporting, MAC Operating technologies, Various Firmware, Virtual Basic (VB) Scripting, Batch Programming, Command-Line, PowerShell, Basic Networking Concepts, Advanced TCP/IP functions, Remote Tools, Microsoft Operating System Deployment or Business Desktop Deployment (BDD)Knowledge of commonly used application installation packaging tools and processes such as Microsoft Installer (.msi), Wise installer, Install Aware, Active Directory deployments, and MS SCCM deployments.Integrate, package and install various application installation (.exe, .bat, .msi) into a standard processBasic Red Hat and MAC OS Knowledge; Microsoft/VMware VirtualizationData Warehousing Support and InfrastructureExperience in Windows Server 2012/2016 (or latest version) System Administrator; Active Directory; System Center 2012 Suite (SCCM, SCOM, SCOrch, SCVMM, SCDPM, SCSM) or latest version; SCUP 2011 or latest version; Intermediate Network Management; SharePoint; Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS); PowerShell; Basic Red Hat and Mac OS knowledge; 3rd party Extensions; Microsoft/VMware VirtualizationCurrent understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs.Experience supporting Joint command organizations is a plus.US Citizen: RequiredExperience: 10 - 15 years of experience in the information technology fieldEducation: BA/BS or equivalent experienceCertification Required: IAT Level II (Security+,CySA+,CND) CertificationClearance: Top Secret (willing to obtain for the right candidate)Link Solutions, Inc. is an EOE.
