The rest of the work week will be fully remote. There is flexibility on how often, and when, but will require on-site work on a weekly basis in some capacity.**As a Financial Analyst Advisor supporting the United States Air Force, you will be trusted to work on complex tasks in various financial functions. In this role a typical day will include:Responsibility for complex tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysisLead the creation of monthly and quarterly financial business review to provide insight into businessPrepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to senior management.Prepare financials for monthly close and forecasting processAnalyze both the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projectionsAct as focal point for communication of financialsDevelop long-range financial models in collaboration with the management teamMay have risk identification and recovery responsibilitiesEnsure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulationsMaintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and proceduresEnsure subsidiary readiness for year-end auditProvide financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growthManage revenue and cost adjustment submission, ensuring accuracy and review of proper back up informationCollaborate across organizations/functions including sales, operations, line of business and project managementMonitor and assess financial impact changes of Indirect rates, rate pools, and allocationsProvide guidance and leadership to less-experienced financial analystsMay serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)What Youll Need:Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of related experience in a government contracting environment; OR combination of education, work experience, and/or training; OR 12 years related experience in the aboveStrong MS Excel skillsExperience with various contract typesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and levels of an organizationStrong organization skills and focus on accuracy and consistencyStrong analytical and problem solvingKnowledge of billing and revenue cycleAbility to prepare / review pricing with recommendations for ManagementActive Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS / SCI Clearance; CI preferredStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and levels of an organizationStrong organization skills and focus on accuracy and consistencyStrong analytical and problem solvingKnowledge of billing and revenue cycleAbility to prepare / review pricing with recommendations for ManagementActive Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS / SCI Clearance; CI preferredWhat is strongly preferred, but not required:Experience with Cost Plus contractsOracle, Concur, IFS and Hyperion Experience (or similar size financial systems)#GDITPriorityCOVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: To protect the health and safety of its employees and to comply with customer requirements, GDIT may require employees in certain positions to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
