Responsibilities: What We Are Currently Looking For:MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN III - THE MADISON LUXURY APARTMENT HOMES (a premier upscale Class A community located in the vibrant Short Pump area) - HENRICO, VAThis key member of our maintenance services team will be responsible for the following:As a Maintenance/Service Technician III, you will be responsible for maintaining and preserving a multi-million dollar luxury community ensuring a quality living experience for our residentsYou will utilize your advanced troubleshooting and technical skills to identify and resolve technical issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, swimming pool and security systemsIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop a strong rapport with residents and assist them with resolving various general maintenance issues (appliances, flooring, cabinets, locks, drywall, etc.) in a timely mannerYou will assist the Service Supervisor with preparing makeready schedules and walk and punch all makeready units to ensure they are in top condition and ready to lease to prospective residentsWill place orders with approved vendors for all necessary supplies and equipmentHelps the service team maintain a strong curb appeal at the propertyKeyword Search:Real Estate, Multifamily, Apartments, Building Maintenance, Technician, HVAC, Makeready, Facilities, Building EngineerQualifications: Candidates who apply should have:2+ years of related multifamily/hotel maintenance experienceStrong knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and general carpentryHVAC/EPA certification and Fair Housing training is requiredCPO and CAMT (Apartment Maintenance) certifications are also required (can be obtained after hire)Experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook)Full training on how to use makeready schedule, Payables Nexus for ordering supplies and Yardi for all service requests (training may be obtained after hire)Strong customer service skillsAt times, will be required to be on callWhat It's Like To Work At Simpson:Why work for Simpson?
