This position will be located at our Defense Systems Headquarters in McLean, VA.Roles and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the development and documentation of key processes and templates that supports the sector financial reporting, planning and budgeting functions. Participate in key financial processes by learning financial systems and development of reports to ensure compliance. Support digital transformation efforts to include financial dashboard creation and executive reporting and analysis. Collaborate with key finance stakeholders to understand and document pain points for future process improvement initiatives.Basic QualificationsA candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and be available to work part-time for at least 10 weeks during winter 2021-22Be majoring in Business Administration, Finance or related field. Other related degrees or minors may include Economics, Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experienceHave an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)Be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance (US citizenship is a pre-requisite)Must be able to work on-site in McLean, VirginiaDemonstrated problem solving skillsProficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsHave an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0 or higherAt Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.The pay ranges for this specific opportunity are as follows:Undergraduate degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master's program): $19.75 - $25.50Masters degrees: $31.75 - $32.75Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
