DescriptionJob Description:Job DescriptionThe Leidos Cyber Accelerator has a new opportunity for a Full Spectrum Cyber Solutions Architect to join our team. The selected candidate will support research and development, marketing, capture, and execution relating to our Cyber Operations and Cybersecurity efforts within all of the markets we serve. This position involves leading technical and non-technical teams across the company in the development of solutions -exploring new technologies, creating prototypes, solving customer challenges - in alignment with Leidos strategy.In this role, the candidate provides leadership in building a portfolio of offerings and capabilities to address current and emerging full spectrum cyber solutions. The candidate will ensure Leidos differentiation of scale, security and speed feature prominently in positioning of our major capabilities. The successful candidate will work hand-in-hand with business development, capture management, line management, research and development, and other subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions to be delivered in proposals, on programs, or on research and development projects. In addition to developing solutions, you will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential problems.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will work with Leidos Research and Development, Business Development, and Program execution teams to:Develop technical concepts and solutions to full-spectrum cyber challengesLead efforts to implement prototypes, white papers, and proposal responses in the Cyber Operations and Cybersecurity areasMeet with Leidos customers to identify their technical and operational needs, avenues for acquisition, and delivery of Leidos developed solutionsEngage with Leidos program teams to incubate, build, and refine cyber capabilities, offerings, and solutionsCoordidate across Leidos to deliver comprehensive solutions and responses to customer and business needs, curate proof points and past performance qualifications, and build playbooks to support future activities as part of our Solution Architect CommunityRepresent Leidos at internal and external engagements including conferences, industry days, symposiums, academic partnerships, industry partnerships, and other venuesAdditionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to perform direct work in their area of expertise, surging as needed on Leidos run programs to solve critical challenges, start new work, and address customer needs and gapsBasic QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's and 10+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree. A Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is highly desired.Significant hands-on work in the area of cybersecurity, cyber operations, or intelligence analysis (such as may be obtained via the military or government) may be considered in lieu of degree.Advanced understanding of cybersecurity threats, defense strategies, and policyExperience in capturing technical requirements and defining technical solutions in the form of conceptual, logical, and physical designs, including the ability to articulate those concepts verbally, graphically and in writing.Ability to synthesize solution design information, architectural principles, available technologies, third-party products, and industry standards to formulate a system architecture that meets client requirements and can be delivered within the desired timeframe.Experience developing technical delivery plans, technical solutions, cost models, and basis of estimates (BOEs), including bill of materials (BOM) development.Experience identifying potential design, performance, security, and support problems, including ability to identify technical risks/challenges and develop relevant mitigation strategies.Extensive knowledge of the broad spectrum of technology areas, including technology trends, forthcoming industry standards, new products, and the latest solution development techniques; ability to leverage this knowledge to formulate technical solution strategy.Preferred QualificationsSecret / TS SCI ClearanceExperience performing Research and Development in a related technical areaExperience in business development and capture effortsExperience in marketing effortsPay Range:Pay Range $110,500.00 - $170,000.00 - $229,500.00#Remote
