Work for the IMF. Work for the World. The Corporate Services and Facilities (CSF) department of the IMF has an immediate opening for a Data Management Assistant/Sr. Data Management Assistant. Under the general supervision of the CSFSE management, the selected candidate will work with the operational resilience team consisting of business continuity, crisis management, and risk management professionals, along with other departments and other external parties to manage the information management needs of the operational resilience projects. The incumbent will serve as a passionate change agent, performs business needs analysis, and makes recommendations to enable agile development of strong data management systems which exceed expectations in a hybrid work environment. The current model allows for a ratio of 60% remote work to 40% in office. Major duties and responsibilities include: * Relationship Management - Acts as a liaison between staff and various stakeholders. Builds and improves relations with clients and system development partners to help ensure a successful implementation of IT changes and user acceptance. * Work Management - Creates and manages project plans, budgets, geared towards the successful roll-out of configuration or process changes. * Designs and manages the implementation, maintenance of the operational resilience tool, and content repositories that supports operational resilience objectives. * Performs data processing and validation of system performance, assesses data quality, conducts QC analysis, and makes improvements to existing IT architecture to ensure end users' needs are met and systems are integrated and agile. * Creates user guides, quick reference charts, and updates websites (SharePoint) to reflect end user requirements. Designs, and updates dashboards, metrics and performance measures. * Problem Solving - Finds solutions to issues that arise from system and or technology process implementations. * Communications - Communicates effectively with clients and system development partners to help ensure a successful implementation of changes and user acceptance. * Learning/Training - Coordinates the preparation of learning materials, organizes classes, provides hands on training, surveys, and obtains feedback, creates metrics and improvement paths. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in programming/systems, computer science, statistics, Information Technology, mathematics, or a related field of study or 8 years of relevant experience The ideal candidate should have: * a track record of managing projects within a solutions environment. * the ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure both autonomously and in a team environment. * sound knowledge of the software development life cycle. * Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. * SharePoint, Tableau, experience, Visio or any other project mapping tool preferred. Preferred experience: * using Salesforce or Fusion Risk Management. * or industry expertise in Risk Management and Business Continuity. Other skills and experience include: * Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, along with strong facilitation and collaboration skills. * Ability to work in a fast past environment, solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues * Ability to learn new technologies quickly. This is a one-year contractual appointment in the IMF headquarters. Contractual appointments are renewable for up to four years of cumulative service, pending continuous business needs, budget availability and the incumbent's performance.
