Our company is in need of a proactive and assertive Project Director who will lead our Commercial team by providing necessary training and holding everyone on the team accountable for the success of their projects.The primary responsibilities include estimating commercial construction projects, using Xactimate and other software applications as well as working with the team to ensure projects are completed to clients' satisfaction, within the promised timeframe and according to company standards. In addition, the Project Director will be expected to develop and maintain relationships within the restoration industry to include insurance adjusters, property managers and property owners.This is not a remote role. Commercial Project Director will need to be in the Northern Virginia area on a daily basis.Responsibilities:Lead and manage our Commercial Team.Travel to job sites within our service area to meet with clients, inspect new & existing projects .Write accurate estimates, using various software applications.Consistently meet or exceed all margin expectations outlined by Paul Davis and hold your team accountable to do the same.Ensure the customer experience is seamless and each team member is being held accountable for their role.Recruit, train and manage subcontractors to ensure they are properly onboarded, managed and offboarded when necessary.Verify project managers are uploading proper documents and photos into projects.Make weekly visits to job sites to check quality and ensure customer satisfaction and high NPS scores.Make sure that work orders, purchase order and scheduling systems are in place and are being used effectively to achieve cycle time and gross margin goals.Establish and maintain a communication protocol with Project Managers to ensure customer and internal/stakeholder communication is frequent and accurate.Address any service-related issues quickly and bring to resolution. Escalate issues that cannot be immediately resolved.Utilize vendors and trade resources to continually educate the team and sharpen their skills.Available for emergencies in the evenings and weekends, if necessary.Qualifications:Proficient in large loss and commercial claimsExperience using Xactimate and other estimating software applicationsDiverse experience in various aspects of restoration, including water, mold, asbestos, contentsExcellent computer skills and ability to learn new softwareManagement experience to include training is necessaryAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documentsSound knowledge of construction best practices, general building codes, and various building types and systemsExperience reading blueprints and architectural plansExcellent time management and attention to detailsMust be able to walk all job sites, including adverse conditions that may result from lossesMust be able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 25 pounds unaided and move throughout job sitesPerform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods of time and use ladders to access roofsBenefits:Salary plus bonusesCompany vehicleAll electronic devices and IT trainingHealth, dental and vision insurancePaid holidays/vacation and sickPaid training and certificationsProfit sharing and 401KPhenomenal teamFamily feel and atmosphereWe are looking forward to reviewing your application and thank you for taking the time to read about our company.
