Medical Assistant: Founded in 2012, Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a private practice group of board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons who focus on individualized care of their patients. The Medical assistant will provide direct assistance to the Patients, physicians, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate would exhibit professionalism with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Top candidates would work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will perform the following tasks:Responsibilities: Triage and room patientsAssist physician with minor procedures, stitch removal, cast removal, and DME applicationsAssist Practice Manager with best practice process development for patient safety and patient experienceLiaise between Physician and Patients in a timely and effective mannerPerform all duties within scope of license and HIPAA regulationsMaintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.Actively communicate with the Practice manager on clinical supplies and physician needs to ensure an efficient clinic area.Requirements: 1 year of relevant previous experience preferredCertified CMA or RMA, certification exam by AAMA or AMT preferredWilling and able to travelDependable and punctualBi-Lingual is a plus, preferably SpanishThis position will primarily work in offices located in Laurel, Gaithersburg, Oxon Hill, and Silver Spring with occasional travel to Waldorf and La Plata.
