OpportunityAbt Associates seeks a Product Manager with a business analyst background to support the Division of Health and Environment in the design, development, and delivery of digital solutions for Federal government clients focused on health and the environment. The selected candidate will work with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered products, including translation of business goals and user needs into features and stories, supporting development teams, and measuring product outcomes. An interest in working in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment that includes developers, data scientists, UX designers, scientists, economists, and policy specialists is important for this position. Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesGuide teams in efficiently and effectively delivering high quality work through best practices in product management, agile development, and human centered design.Work with stakeholders to understand the vision and strategic goals of the product.Coordinate with UX designers to research and design products that meet the needs of the stakeholders and users.Identify features and define a backlog of user stories with acceptance criteria, and work with developers to understand the requirements and build solutions.Validate that the solutions developed meet the acceptance criteria.Consider value, prioritization, and tradeoffs in facilitating the delivery of the highest quality product that fits within project constraints (time, budget, or technology).Use metrics and data to measure success and plan improvements.Preferred Skills/PrerequisitesExperience in a range of technical projects, including managing a portfolio of concurrent products at different stages of development.Experience working on client-facing projects to define, document, and prioritize product features and user stories.Experience shipping public-facing, data-intensive web applications.Demonstrated understanding of the principles of product management, human centered design, and agile development through combination of education, certification, or work experience.Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, and ability to anticipate client and team needs.Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into product requirements and actionable insights.Ability to manage competing project demands while maintaining a high attention to detail.Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau), ArcGIS Online, Google Analytics, and/or SQL databases is a plus.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree + Five years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree + Three years of relevant experience, or PhDAbt Associates is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse workforce.
