Vaco Richmond is recruiting for a Jr. Staff Accountant for one of our clients in the Glen Allen, VA area. This position offers upwards mobility, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic accounting team. We are seeking individuals who have previous years of accounting experience in a related industry.Requirements:Candidates must be local to the Richmond, VA regionResponsibilities:Complete General Ledger Entries, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.Process monthly billing, and monitor accounts for any discrepancies.Process accounts payable for cash receipts.Assist with special projects as needed within the accounting department.Qualifications:A degree in Accounting is preferred.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Excellent written and verbal communication.
