Golfzon has a presence in 62 countries with 6,200 sites around the world and 65 million rounds of golf played on Golfzon simulators annually. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivator and will strive to provide excellent employee support and customer service.The Human Resources Manager is responsible for corporate and regional support of the human resource function at Golfzon facilities while maintaining the commitment of ensuring the delivery of excellent employee and customer service. Related activities include, but are not limited to, supporting, executing, and completing tasks and projects within the following HR disciplines: Employee Relations, Recruiting/Staffing/Retention, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Training, HRIS Administration and Compliance/Legal.Responsibilities Include:Act as first level of support on functions including but not limited to: Employee Relations, Recruiting/Staffing/Retention, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Training, HRIS administration and Compliance/LegalWork with management, supervisors, and employees to resolve problems that arise due to policy interpretations, procedural issues, job performance concerns, time off matters, harassment concerns, equal employment issues, etc.Conduct fact finding interviews and make recommendations regarding appropriate corrective actions for a wide range of conduct and performance issuesRepresent management in investigating, responding to, and settling grievances and employee complaints. Where applicable, coordinate meetings between employees and management to facilitate the dispute resolution processStay current with all applicable legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR activities to ensure the company's policies, procedures, and reporting activities are in compliance with federal, state and local laws related to employmentAssist in the development and interpretation of the company's HR policies and procedures and ensure the company's HR policies & procedures manual and employee handbook are compliant and remain currentImprove manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employeesRepresent the company in dealings with government agencies such as the EEOC, Department of Labor and National Labor Relations BoardAssist with administration of employee engagement surveys, conduct focus groups, make recommendations based on the results, and implement action items and/or programsAssist with full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, and referring quality applicants for positionsCoordinate recruitment methods with hiring managers to attract quality candidates appropriate to the position and organization's needsGenerate employment offer letter packages and assist with new hire orientationConduct reference and background checks and pre-employment drug screeningsAssist with developing training curriculums for field managers that effectively enhance their skills and performanceConduct proactive facility HR auditsProvide coaching and mentoring to property leaders and direct reportsTravel to conduct/present at new location transitionsCreate and deliver presentations around leadership, soft skills, compliance, anti-harassment and other related areasOther duties as assignedQualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required3 - 5 years of experience in Human ResourcesStrong communication skills; verbal and writtenExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlinesEffective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsProficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systemsState and local employment law knowledgeSHRM-CP/PHR or SHRM-CP/PHR certification preferredOvernight travel by air/car (20-30%) to conduct investigations, training, location openings, and auditsJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
