Job SummaryLidl US is currently seeking a Regional Construction Manager who will be responsible for all functions of the store construction project from bidding, to building and closing out the project after opening. The role also manages all budgets, timelines, quality checks and external/internal professionals/partners, especially General Contractors.What You'll DoResearch, analyze, calculate and manage construction costsConduct quality controls of construction projectsManage design process from concept through construction completionLead a project team consisting of design consultants, general contractors, and internal departmentsMonitor and manage project performance of internal and external stakeholdersServe as principal liaison to internal stakeholdersManage full entitlement and due diligence processesConduct negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers in order to purchase targeted construction productsPerform other duties as assignedWhat You'll NeedBachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Sciences, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years' experience in Construction Management, Retail Construction, or Real Estate OperationsIn lieu of, a combination of education and experience mentioned above will satisfy the degree and relevant experience requiredUS Driver's LicenseKnowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, health and safety regulations and entitlement processesAbility to work in situations that involve prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting and/or bending more than half the timeWhat You'll ReceiveAt Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
