METCOR/LSI is looking for a dynamic, culture-driven, full-time, exempt Human Resources Manager to work in Washington, DC. METCOR/LSI complies with federal, state, and local laws with regard to accommodations related to this policy.The Human Resources Manager role includes, but is not limited to:Drives employee engagement programs and initiativesOversees and manages day-to-day HR activities with support from HR Generalist/RecruiterSupervises and mentors HR Generalist/RecruiterDevelops HR strategy for the company in concert with the Director of Administration and support teamOversees the onboarding and offboarding process for all employeesHandles employee relations counselingPerforms benefits administrationTracks training and professional development companywideAssists with Payroll process and compensation updatesPrepares annual EEO-1 and VETS 4212 reports for submission to governmentManages and updates company AAPs as requiredEnsures compliance with Federal, state, and local lawsMaintains personnel files and confidentiality of all mattersConducts investigations as needed for company issuesProvides HR Policy guidance and keeps the company employee handbook up to dateOffers performance management guidance to all company leadersWorks in tandem with leadership to execute human resources strategiesWorks on ad-hoc assignments as neededSelf-Starter and can implement projects from cradle to graveAbout the CompanyMETCOR/LSI is a verified veteran-owned small business with a focus on developing and delivering training solutions that exceed customer expectations.
