Business Development Representative Location: Dulles, VA Summary: Stillwater Human Capital is currently expanding in the rapidly growing Recruiting and Federal government consultancy areas. We looking to grow our Business Development Department and so, we are searching for a Business Development Representative, who would like to come to join our expanding team. The Business Development Representative will be primarily responsible for producing and managing new client sales. Accountable for achieving sales goals and communicating with the Stillwater Business Development team to ensure high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction exists with each client. What Youll Get to Do: Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to potential prospects, and follow up on leads. Develop and implement, in conjunction with the Business Development Director, a strategic sales plan including programs and activities which will aid in the attainment of weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals. Effectively sell all of Stillwater Human Capitals services in the marketplace through appointment setting, cold calls, prospecting, networking, referrals, etc., to ensure the attainment of billable hours and profitability objectives. The Business Development Representative is expected to spend a minimum of 90% of their time involved in direct sales activities. Ensure a high level of customer service and customer satisfaction exists within each interaction. . Prioritize customer requirements and needs to continuously stand out from competitors. Attend weekly team meetings to review the activity and results against weekly/monthly sale goals. Input and maintain all client information and data, into the Stillwaters CRM for all prospects, and clients Collaborate with the Business Development and Human Capital teams to present an appropriate capability solution for the potential client, establish bill rates, contract terms, and fees. Maintain a high profile in the business community through professional organization memberships and active participation in community networking events. Continuously recommend and develop creative sales strategies and techniques for expanding existing business and/or to generate new business. Set an excellent example to all company personnel, clients, business partners and the public in general. Conduct activities as a company representative in an ethical and businesslike manner. Maintain and safeguard company assets and proprietary information. Audit all existing accounts for profitability. Maintain profitable mark-up percentages on all new and existing clients and issue rate increases in a timely manner as deemed necessary. Identify customer needs; be continuously alert and responsive to changing customer business environment. Conduct follow-up activities with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals. Brainstorm with the Business Development Team to develop creative marketing engagements, such as referral check-ins, gifting ideas, and promotional events. Work with experienced associates to lead discovery calls in order to understand potential clients needs and speak to Stillwater Capabilities. Keep clients informed throughout the sales process. Attend training to gain an understanding of representing clients in HR management decisions. Develop and execute a daily plan. Youll Bring These Qualifications: 3-7 years experience in Business-to-Business Sales and/or other related positions 3 years in major account sales in a business-to-business environment. Demonstrated entrepreneurial experience with a goal-driven focus. Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to manage major accounts. Must have knowledge of how a business operates internally. Proven record of accomplishment exceeding aggressive revenue quotas while maintaining customer satisfaction. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage and interact with C-Level Executives and deliver compelling value propositions that support the sales strategy. Proven marketing skills for penetrating net new accounts. Proficient personal computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, ie, Zoho or Hubspot Demonstrate ability to self-motivate, set goals, and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented and demonstrate strong organizational and flexible time management skills. Builds and sustains collaborative relationships at multiple levels in the organization. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
