This is a temporary position expected to start May 1st, 2021. Expected duration is 3 months. Pay $16/hr. Position is in a warehouse environment that involves the handling and processing of parts, products and material. Duties will include other warehousing activities as assignedThis is a temporary position expected to start May 1st, 2021. Expected duration is 3 months. Pay $16/hr. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Function):- Receives products, parts, material and related equipment into inventory.- Products and material will include HVAC, plumbing, electronics, electrical, water heaters and other related products and material to be used by the sales, installation and service business.- Assists with updating receiving data in product and parts computer management systems for inventory fulfillment.- Processes and fills products and parts to installation and service personnel.- Occasionally utilizes clamp truck, order picker, and forklift truck as needed.- Pulls parts from inventory for truck stock replenishment.- Loads parts van for evening delivery by courier service.- Receives incoming goods and inspects products, material and parts to verify correct part and quantity; validates condition of goods being received.- Validates and inputs appropriate receiving documents.- Packages parts for delivery via parcel carrier.- Stage products, parts and material for delivery to technicians and installation groups.- Determines disposition of returned parts and products and forwards to the Returns Dept.- Fills orders for all business units to meet specified delivery dates.- Assists with daily removal of empty cartons, trash, and other warehouse housekeeping.- Participates in physical inventories and cycle counts.Additional Qualifications Skills/Abilities Knowledge:- Must have the ability to learn specific operations of division to which assigned, including warehousing, HVAC, appliance and electronic parts.- Must demonstrated ability to act with tact and diplomacy when interacting with suppliers, customers, technicians and installers.- Must be computer literate with ability to input and retrieve receiving data of all products, parts and material.- Must have general knowledge of Company operations.Education/Experience:- Minimum of 1 year of job related work experience in product and parts receiving such as water heaters, appliances parts, HVAC and electronic parts and related products, parts and material.- Prefer experience using a fork lift and clamp truck for the fulfillment of receiving, warehousing and shipping of water heaters, parts and material. Other (Including physical requirements, working conditions, etc.):- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
