Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Painter/Maintenance Technician in Baltimore, Maryland, a newly renovated senior apartment community! Linden Park Apartments in Bolton Hill is made up 266 units. of This fast growing, property management company is largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region.Applicants who are qualified for this position have 2+ years prior apartment maintenance experience. Primary responsibilities will include, minor drywall repair, painting, etc. Prior experience with appliance repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, drywall and painting is a plus but not required. It is imperative that the Painter/Maintenance Technician be able to work independently and also as a member of a team.Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:PaintingBasic sheet rock repairsmoldings installation/repairPerform any necessary "make ready" tasks to prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including repairs, cleaning and any other necessary tasksClean out all trash from apartments before, during and after make-ready activityLight maintenance duties for work ticket mattersPerform other tasks as directedThis position is responsible for technical matters related to general apartment maintenance. In addition to technical maintenance tickets, this position will assist with unit turnovers and be part of the after-hours on-call rotation. The Painter/Maintenance Technician directly reports to the Community Manager.
