Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a HR Analyst with a vision to be part of a dynamic Corporate HR team that strives to deliver the data and insight about our talented 8300+ employees in multiple locations across the US In this role, you will be critical to Sinclair's journey to be a data driven organization. The HR Analyst will compile and structure HR data, organizational metrics, and statistics and the apply this data to make business recommendations related to recruitment, retention, legal compliance, and employee experience. While no day may be the same, responsibilities are (including, but are not limited to): Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human capital management system and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors' practices, and other sources Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations Prepares charts, reports, and dashboards of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership Based on metrics and analysis, provide common themes for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices Be a super user of our Human Capital Management system including data maintenance, auditing, and system testing Assist HR team with various projects involving data May assist with data for performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes Qualifications and Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies Advanced proficiency with Excel (skills like pivot tables, conditional formatting, graphs, data sets, vlookups, text to columns, concatenation, etc. are easy for you!), as well as other Microsoft Applications such as PowerPoint and Word Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's Human Capital Management system, payroll, and similar employee management software Previous experience using business intelligence platforms a plus Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field required At least three years of experience in related areas such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred HR certification preferred Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!
