SummaryLidl US is seeking a Real Estate Analyst to support the Real Estate Managers with all tasks related to acquisition, entitlement and store construction. The objective of the position is to look after all property systems from a business and administrative perspective and ensure high quality data in the property systems. A heavy emphasis will be placed on market analysis in support of studying submarkets within our real estate strategy, pursuing contracts on individual sites (purchases, ground leases, in-line leases and mixed use developments), as well as supporting the development and construction management teams in entitling and building new Lidl stores.What You'll DoWork with Real Estate Manager and Director to manage the contract lifecycle of a project, including lease and other administration beyond store openingPerform real estate market analysis including evaluation of competitors' locations, acquisitions strategy, sales volumes and other relevant informationCreate analytic maps in coordination with real estate depicting site feasibility, key demographic, competitive, traffic, and decision-making metricsCreate and help to present market drive presentations and investment packages for Board approval in support of Real Estate ManagerReceive and help delegate within the team in-bound solicitations from the business community regarding potential new sitesSupport acquisition managers in contract negotiations for new identified sitesAssist in the management of the due diligence process in order to ensure that all development risks are identified and quantifiedMonitor site development and store construction budgetsAssist the regions in the management of the approval and permitting phase of the development process and ensure approvals are in line with company requirementsAssist in the management of the bidding, negotiations and construction contract processAssist with administrative tasks, as needed, such as preparing meeting minutes, electronically and filing documentsWhat You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning or related fieldProficiency with mapping software and demographics analysisKnowledge of real estate, real estate systems and market practicesAbility to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple projects at one time, balance priorities and deadlinesAbility to interact with a diverse mix of individuals and develop solutions to problemsStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levelsHighly organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, and an effective communicatorStrong Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeThis position commutes less than 25% of the timeWhat You'll ReceiveAt Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
