Every day, our employees do the cant be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers.ResponsibilitiesPerforms an assortment of complex engineering duties such as the planning of manufacturing and the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus. Provides existing support to activities in the use of electrical devices and energy for commercial, domestic, and industrial use. Design and develop electronics and circuits. Perform product testing and create models and prototypes. Develop and document electronic schematics for products. Performs a variety of engineering work in designing, planning and overseeing manufacture, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of electric or electronic components, equipment, systems, facilities, and machinery used in generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy for domestic, commercial, and industrial consumption. Works directly with engineers in other disciplines to augment production size and value. May provide work leadership and training to lower level professional and technical staff. May act as internal consultant providing technical guidance on most complex projects.The successful candidate will support the mission of the C5ISR Center ES&I, Ground Integration and Engineering Division, Engineering Design Branch, integrating C5ISR systems and components, including Command Post shelters, vehicle installation kits and transit cases.QualificationsA minimum of 3 years electrical engineering design experience, preferably with militaryC5ISR equipment and vehicles requiredAbility to communicate and work in an integrated team of CAD designers, electrical integrators and technicians throughout the design, build, test and fielding process.Ability to design/develop and integrate advanced electronic circuits and components; including power distribution/allocation, satellite, and radio communications,Positioning/Navigation/Timing (PNT), servers, routers and wireless devices used in complex C5ISR systems.Ability to utilize automated design tools, ie CAD, ECADAbility to read and create electrical drawingsBasic understanding of how Radio Frequencies interact in the environmentAbility to perform in an independent working environment directly supporting customersAbility to work in office and lab environment.Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.For Colorado ResidentsColorado Salary Minimum: $80,288.00Colorado Salary Maximum:$171,641.60The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
