Overview: The IT Support Specialist is the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance for computer and software related issues via phone, email, or in person. Although the position will be primarily supporting the Tysons Corner office, this role will routinely assist the Sr. Systems Administrator, and on occasion provide backup support for the Hunt Valley, MD office. Responsibilities: Responds to Help Desk inquiries, creates/tracks trouble tickets, and documents resolutionsTroubleshoots desktops/laptops, peripherals, handheld devices, printers, and software related issuesAssist with setup of webcam and audio/visual devices for company-wide presentationsProvides support to executive VPs and company President with occasional on-site support at home residencesAssists the System Administrator on project assignmentsUpdates and patches computer systems using operational tools and processesEnsures company owned equipment, peripherals, and software are properly maintained and in compliance with all licensing entitiesSupport counterpart at the Hunt Valley office, which includes travel to the office for support and exchange of equipment as neededTOP FOUR SKILLSStrong experience with- Microsoft Windows 10 desktop platforms- Microsoft Windows 2016/2019 server platforms- Microsoft Office 365 productivity applications - Microsoft Azure & Virtual Desktop Management using NerdioAbility to create users and manipulate records in Active Directory and Azure CloudKnowledgeable with wired and wireless networking standards and protocolsExperience with Cloud VoIP Phone System administration IP phone provisioning (Zoom Preferred) Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years in Information Systems or related experienceA+ or Network+ Certification preferred and may substitute for experienceWorking knowledge of common operating systems and Office 365 productivity softwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsFriendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with othersAbility to provide technical support over the phone, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience helpfulGood problem solving skills; ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve itAbility to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during slow times, be able to multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situationsAbility to work responsibly without direct supervisionOn-call schedule during emergency situations or after hours maintenanceAbility to lift 50 lbs. independentlyAbility to travel to other offices as neededNaylor Association Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to hiring a diverse workforce.IND123
