Overview: We are actively searching for a TIER III Support DBA/Developer to support our on-going Grant Solutions program for the Federal government customer. Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and generate PL/SQL procedures, functions and packages for Oracle databasesPerform general technical trouble shooting & give consultation to development teamsWork with Operations, DBA team and other program SMEs on coding standards and peer reviews.Assist in production software deployments working closely with other members of the production support group to ensure the proper transition of system changes into the production environmentsAnalyze data conversion/migration mapping logicParticipate in project meetings with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand data specific needsQuery optimization and troubleshooting of database related issues. Work closely with DBA and Development teams to optimized SQL codeWork with program SMEs to identify root cause issues in production system Requirements: Must have: 3 years of experience with programming, create and modify SQL queries and PL\SQL codeMust have: 3 - 5 Years of job-related experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer, with experience with Oracle RDBMS, including PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, and XML Publisher.2 years of experience with data conversion/migration on medium to large scale projects2 years of experience supporting large production system with data issuesGood to have: experience supporting and troubleshooting Java, JavascriptGood to have: Previous experience supporting Redshift databasesSolid understanding of ETL conceptsBachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Management Information Systems or related field preferred.Ability to pay strong attention to detail, have a strong customer focus, collaborate and function effectively in a team environment and independently.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data and system performance issuesExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Key Competencies:Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skillsStrong communication (verbal and written) and listening skillsStrong teamwork, planning, and coordination skillsSelf-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to meet aggressive deadlinesAbility to work effectively with minimal directionFamiliarity with Agile software development methodologiesAbility to independently research and resolve technical problems in a complex IT environment with local and remote groupsQualified candidates MUST be able to obtain a public trust clearance.Due to our contractual requirements and federal orders, including an Executive Order from the White House and an emergency regulation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the position for which you are applying requires that you provide proof of your vaccination status. Compensation: The proposed salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000.
