The SharePoint Administrator delivers projects that are technically sound in accordance with best practices and aesthetically impressive. This mission-critical position designs and implements tools and technologies to promote knowledge management (KM), digital transformation, collaboration, and communication throughout the ACDI/VOCA Group. Responsibilities: Project 40%: Provide technical knowledge in the management of a hybrid SharePoint environment and Microsoft Teams. Set up and provide technical administration of LMS365 (learning management system). Work with supervisor and CIO to implement content retention labels in SharePoint. Collaborate with colleagues and manage vendors to extend SharePoint and Teams applications to include extending the feature set, adding functionality, and meeting organizational collaboration, application, and file sharing/storage/security needs for knowledge assets. Work with users to refine business application requirements and develop or manage the development of new applications. Enforce adherence to best practices and usability design standards.Administrative, Training, & Professional Development 30%: Work with team to set strategies for Intranet and roadmap for inclusion of new Microsoft tools or approved 3rd party applications. Oversee the establishment of and maintain complete user and system documentation for all new and existing KM applications. Develop, maintain, and audit all SharePoint related policies, procedure, guidance, architecture, documentation, and governance documents. Maintain up-to-date detailed knowledge of Microsofts roadmap. Provide regular training to staff on how to use Knowledge Management tools to include SharePoint, Teams, and Planner. Contribute to the KM Teams Knowledge Nuggets series to assist staff with new feature rollouts and adoption of KM tools. Support and enhance the company's culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion and align with our corporate values by treating others with respect and congeniality.Incident Management/Product Support/Permissions 30%: Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to O365 tools (SharePoint, LMS365, Teams and Planner). Proactively identify and resolve issues before they become urgent. Adhere to incident management and change management procedures and reporting practices. Work with IT infrastructure staff to ensure the technology stack supports existing applications as well as prepares the way for new application development and deployment. Manage integration points between suite of applications such as SharePoint, MS Dynamics 365, MS Teams and Unit4 Business World. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, business administration, communications, or other related field required. Minimum of 5 years of related work experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform all essential job functions. Technical SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and O365 subject matter expertise. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online 2013, Dynamics, Power BI, Teams and Planner. Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft PowerShell, and Security/Compliance best practices. Implementation, best practices, and data governance for O365/SharePoint Online standalone and hybrid environments. Experience in SharePoint and Teams System Administration, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting issues. Experience designing and developing or managing solutions dependent on SQL ServerDatabase, Reporting, and Integration Services. Experience setting up and controlling external collaboration in SharePoint Online. Sound analytical capabilities and experience evaluating current business processes. Passionate about using technology to solve business problems. Proactive and positive attitude, attention to detail, strong customer service, communication, and training skills, and ability work well with diverse users/vendors/teams/backgrounds. Fluency in English required.
