Explore your future and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman is seeking a System Software Developer to join the Space Intern Program. This position will be located in Dulles, VA and will perform the following duties:Provide assistance to developing, testing, and deploying Ansible Playbooks (Scripts) for use in the Mission Control Center.Assist engineers with developing client and server applications/tools for systems automation.Applications will span languages and toolsets including Python, Postgres, Ansible, OpenShift.Developer will be expected to be a self-starter capable of making decision.Basic Qualifications:A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2022.Be majoring in computer science, software engineer, or a related STEM degree.Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2022Preferred Qualifications:Minimum overall GPA of 3.7Prior internship or research experience in related field - Proficiency in Microsoft office suiteAbility to read and interpret scripted languages (eg PERL, Python, STOL) is preferred, but not requiredNGE - TechnicalIntern Pay Range:Bachelor's: $24.00 to $29.75 per hourMaster's: $35.25 to $37.50 per hourCampusjobsEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
