ECS is seeking a Bindery Technician to work in our Quantico, VA office.Job Description: ECS has an immediate opening for a Copier/Bindery technician at the FBI Academy, Quantico, VA. The position is one of two resources within the Quantico Print Shop.Required Skills:High SchoolMust have a Top-Secret ClearanceContractor shall provide personnel with experience in assisting with the duplicating of reports and graphics, and with the conversion of graphics publication page layouts to confirm to printing standards.Contractor shall provide personnel with experience in supporting FBI customers and have an extensive knowledge of the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. Contractor must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Products to include word, excel, publisher, etc., and the process of Adobe PDF conversion. Contractor shall be proficient in operation of the following types of coil binding equipment to include a GBC Digicoil Inserter, GBC Magnapunch, and a GBC CI-12 Desktop Coil Inserter and crimper.Contractor must have knowledge in operating a Baum Ultrafold 714 XE Folder and a Challenge Titan 200 Paper Cutter.The contractor needs to have experience operating a Xerox 560, Konica 6501, Konica 1050 and other various copiers.Experience in running these copiers and pieces of equipment are important in order to estimate schedule time for each of the required tasks.Contractor must have knowledge of the various types of paper that are used throughout the printing industry.Contractor must also be able to identify the types of stock that are used within the print shop (with training) and make decisions necessary to complete requests.Desired Skills:The Government prefers that the Contractor be familiar with FBI methods of documenting, handling, and disposing of classified documents and printing jobs.ECS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
