Peratons First Responder Solutions (FRS) program provides state-of-the-art Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) solutions to a variety of first responder customers across the country and internationally. FRS is seeking a Test Engineer to join our product testing team.The hired individual will participate with all aspects of product testing: design of test infrastructure, test automation script development, manual regression test case development, and documentation. The hired individual will work collaboratively with the software development teams. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator.We are looking for someone with the desire to settle into a long term commitment, and to grow within our organization.General Requirements for Test Engineer:Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or Systems Engineering Experience/Proficiency in technical writing.Experience working within IT and system infrastructureProficiency in Microsoft operating systems: XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10Proficient in two of the following object oriented programming languages: C#, Java, Python, C++, or Visual Basic ()Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearanceMust be a US CitizenPreferred Qualifications:Experience with scripting in one or more object oriented programming languagesDemonstrated working knowledge of automation frameworksSufficient experience in at least one of the following test automation tools: TestComplete, Robot, Selenium, HP QuickTest Professional, Test Studio, Appium, or Ranorex.Familiarity with UNIX/Windows Server infrastructure Experience and passion for working in the Public Safety Domain
