There is no challenge we can't turn into opportunity.GDIT is currently seeking an experienced, driven Government Compliance Senior Financial Analyst with advanced software skills, including MS excel and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), to join our team based out of Falls Church, VA. The team serves as the primary interface with Government auditors and regulators and is responsible for accurately producing highly automated financial schedules, supporting the audits of regulatory required deliverables, such as incurred cost submissions, and enhancing automated end to end processes.Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:Participate in preparation of multiple annual incurred cost submissions by:Producing and testing accounting system OBIEE reports that produce various financial schedules, understanding data sources, and ensuring data and report integrityReviewing and performing statistical analysis on costs to identify risksIdentifying areas for improvement, refinement, enhanced oversight, etc.Working with Finance and Contracts teams to collect, validate, track, and electronically furnish data to the governmentLeading development and validation of individual Incurred Cost Proposal schedules; with growth potential to lead entire proposalsConducting adequacy reviews of developed schedulesServe as a DCAA POC for incurred cost proposal reviews and audits, cost and budget reviews, and other audits and data requests for the DCAA on-site auditors; prepared responses to requests for information (RFIs)Assist the contract close-out process, preparing schedules and documentsSupport evolution of the role and team by identifying opportunities for automation of Government Compliance supporting processes; participate in or lead automation of processes including requirements development, communication with IT resources and testing delivered capability.To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Business Information Technology or a related field5+ years of experience in a Finance business partnering or consulting role in Government contractingUnderstanding cost accounting structures and practicesWorking knowledge of FAR and CASHands on experience performing complex financial modeling, reporting, or analyticsProficient at using technology to solve business problemsExperience working collaboratively with cross functional, remote and extended teamsA demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvement activitiesAn ability to articulate problems and solutions, consistently meet deadlines, maintain poise under pressure and lead tasks to closureMust possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in consulting roles.Strong Excel and/or other data analytics tools.MS Access development desirable.
