Shady Grove Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a Nurse Educator/Infection Prevention.Duties of the Nurse Educator/Infection Prevention:Directs the orientation program for all new employees and schedules ongoing coordinated education in-services.Evaluates resident care practices throughout the facility and identifies instructional needs.Designs educational programs commensurate with needs.Documents all programming as required by state standards and maintains a reference library.Provides specialized training needs in all departments on request of Department Heads.Notifies Department Heads about scheduling of required staff education, immunizations and additional department education.Administers and records licensed staff competencies.Qualifications for Nurse Educator/Infection Prevention.Valid RN or LPN licenseExperience as a Nurse Educator/Staff Development Coordinator.Job Type: Full-time
