Every day, our employees do the cant be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers.ResponsibilitiesPeratons Cloud and Applications Offering team is seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Principal Technical Specialist to help drive our DevSecOps offering and Software Factory capabilities into the future to be the most competitive in breadth and depth in the Federal IT market. Telework/remote support is possible for this role.Experience implementing DevSecOps Pipelines (CI-CD integration and orchestration)including Open Source, AWS, Azure, Openshift, and Platform One.Implement modern security practicesImplementation ofDevSecOpscapabilitiesas an enterprise platformExperience with agile techniques: TDD, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, SAFe, etc.Experience with Public cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google)Implementation of Infrastructure as Code (Container Orchestration, etc.)Experience in modern API platform designExperience with modern data architectures (eg event driven architectures, data democratization, platform approaches to support ML/AI at scale and automation)Deeply conversant with today's technology and associated disruptors (RPA, Containerization/microservices, NoOps, DevSecOps,AIOps,etc.)Experience with DevSecOps Transformations working with internal and external customer engineering/technology professionals toseniormanagementCommunicatingtechnicalconceptsto non-technical audiences and buildingconsensusSolutioning, authoring and presenting responses to RFPs and RFIs as neededExperience in helping to drive DevSecOps offering and capability relentlessly forwardWork in a collaborativeteamwhere your talent is valued over ajobtitleSpeak at conferences, writeblogs andpapersQualificationsBS in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.10 to 15+ years of hands-on enterprise software deployment in a secure DevOps capacity.Excellent understanding ofcontainerization, including Docker,Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Azure AKS andLinux.Languages, frameworks, SCMs, and tools: Python, Terraform, Bash, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, HashiCorp Vault and similar options.Exposure to Java, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, .NET Core, and iOS Swift development technologies is a plus.Provide consultation, design leadership, and technical assistance for software and system deployment.Experience evaluating 3rd party solutions for integration opportunities is preferred.Integrate enterprise-wide tools for automating, securing, monitoring, and managing the current and future technology environments in a proactive manner.Must be committed to a culture of continuous improvementFor Colorado ResidentsColorado Salary Minimum: $121,721.60Colorado Salary Maximum:$260,208.00The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
