Description Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Bethesda, Maryland, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire opening. In this influential department, there is a possibility for further career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.Your responsibilities- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required- Manage full-cycle A/P- Execute additional tasks as needed- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs- Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks Requirements - Knowledge of Coupa- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds- 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
