Appian is seeking an Analyst who will work directly with the SVP, Human Resources on strategic planning, special projects, auditing and analysis, and other key activities.

Succeeding in this position requires you to be a curious self-starter with great problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a commitment to keeping deadlines, and an ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:

Combine creative thinking, the command of analytical problem solving, and an understanding of HR best practices to:
  • Assist in the coordination, oversight and streamlining of programs, projects, systems and processes across the People Team at Appian
  • Maintain key documents, calendars and workflow systems that keep the HR department running smoothly and efficiently
  • Take the lead in organizing and running departmental meetings, in-person training programs, manager monthly knowledge shares, and major events
  • Work closely with HR Operations, Talent Development, and regional contacts to schedule and coordinate regional orientation events
  • Structure and execute strategic initiatives by gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, and presenting final recommendations that will drive short- and long-term growth
  • Stay abreast of and share industry, competitor, and employee trends that can positively impact the growth and scalability of Appian
  • Handle sensitive information by maintaining discretion and confidentiality

Qualifications:
  • Strong project management, organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer skills (i.e., business intelligence, databases, Google G Suite)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3 years of direct experience in the software or Information Technology industry
  • Must possess exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Must have working knowledge of leadership strategies and human resource planning
