VP Client Onboarding and Development - Integrated Payables

Our IP Client Onboarding and Development team works with Business owners to create long term, meaningful relationships to better understand their business and their entire B2B wallet. Through a consultative approach, we can help Business Owners optimize the rewards and benefits they receive by optimizing their Accounts Payable and enabling greater rewards on their expenses.

As a Client Manager for Integrated Payables, , you will deepen the engagement with our business clients by helping them unlock the full value of their Capital One IP Business relationship. You will have a deep understanding of each client in your portfolio, including their business model and strategic priorities while serving as a dedicated point of contact. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and serve as an advocate for our customers. They will be innovative, highly organized, and have a measurable, demonstrated ability to drive business results while delivering superior service to our customers. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Manage a portfolio of existing MVP customers as we roll out new capabilities this June.
Become a trusted advisor by understanding the customers drivers of growth, strategic initiatives and challenges so that you can provide meaningful insights and make proactive recommendations around Capital One products, how they make payments that enhances the overall value proposition for the client
Develop relationships with a top portfolio of clients to build cardability, and where necessary, recapture spend on degrading accounts
Analyze your clients' total business spend to identify additional opportunities to leverage card/rewards
Assist the business in overcoming obstacles to utilizing their card for payments to all accepting vendors
Monitor portfolio metrics and perform quarterly account reviews with top clients and Capital One leadership
Partner with the larger Small Business Card and Commercial Card teams to identify and ideate on solutions that meet client needs
Ability to work virtually in a fast-paced environment
Compliant in all client activities and follow up through use of Salesforce.com
Travel to visit clients as needed (TBD-Post Covid)

The Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrated abilities to build relationships and influence at a wide range of levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills, both in person and over the phone
Hands on experience in sales and/or client management and the ability to deliver a superior customer experience
Creative thinker willing to challenge the status quo
Strong professional presence
Maniacal focus on being well managed and recommending solutions that are a win win for the client and Capital One
Problem solver able to partner across multiple lines of business to solve the unique problems of our Business clients
Knowledge of Salesforce and working understanding of sales performance metrics
Strategic mindset and ability to leverage data in identifying growth opportunities across their portfolio

Basic Qualifications:
At least 3 years of sales experience or account management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
5 years of outside customer sales experience as an individual contributor managing a client portfolio
AP /accounting experience or experience using Quickbooks
1 year of experience working with Businesses Customers
1 year of experience in the financial industry
Proficiency in using Salesforce.com
Proficiency in using G Suite
