Duties

  • Supervises the Project Management and Project Development Divisions
  • Responsible for support to customers including; search, analytics, interface design and content management, registration and product access support
  • Provides subject matter knowledge, and applies this expertise to evaluating and analyzing the effectiveness to meet information requirements
  • Lead project teams of more than 30 personnel
  • Guides Agile development improvement to meet project plans and work breakdown structures of efforts touching Angular, JAVA, .NET, and C# programming languages

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-13) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.

Specialized experience is defined as directing innovative program management approaches to support application development using Agile principles to address projects touching Angular, JAVA, or .NET and C# programming languages; developing concise project requirements, developing an action plan based on cost, schedule and resources while managing external support requirements; aligning projects and programs to critical priorities and delivering requirements within budget and on schedule and communicating program objectives and goals to key high-level officials to garner support.

Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
