Our integrated full-service solutions leverage a 100-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.SummaryThe Digital Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for growing the adoption and education of Freemans Digital solutions to the event industry through internal (Freeman account owners) and external lead generation. The SDR will act as part of a team hunting new business.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform research to identify potential sales opportunities; communicate to internal contacts to qualify and capture initial interestAnswer potential internal client inquiries and follow-up call questionsLead and strategize on Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and consult on best practices by working closely with Digital Sales Manager on customer RFPs / Requests for Information (RFIs)Manage the proposal process for answering customer RFPs, assigning and collecting proposal sections to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as requiredManage the proposal database ensuring that boilerplate is accurate and contains the latest product informationUpdate sales capability presentations and setup presentations for senior channel sales managersMaintain database of sales opportunity information (via Salesforce)Manage weekly pipeline report and ongoing team reporting needsWork closely with Sales Leadership & Operations team to implement and follow effective processesEducation & ExperienceBachelors Degree is preferred with relevant industry experience0 to 4 years of full-time corporate sales experience; software sales is a plusProven track record of success prospecting for new businessExperience with Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS OutlookPrior experience with Salesforce preferredDiversity CommitmentAt Freeman, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is helping us to create not only a great place to work, but also an environment where our employees, our customers and our communities around the world can reach their goals and connect with each other.
