Pexip is looking for an energetic and passionate Business Development Representative to support our Sales Team in the Americas. The ideal candidate will be located in the Washington, DC Metro Area. We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Business Development Representative to join our Sales Team. The BDR will be responsible for developing new opportunities, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You will also need to work with people across marketing, partner, and finance to develop and deliver customer offers.As a BDR you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable with high activity which includes; qualifying, following up, closing inbound leads, working closely with channel partners, actively generating and closing new prospects through outbound activities. It's important that you are confident in picking up the phone to speak with new prospects and developing these into leads and successful outcomes.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career to influence the direction of the inside sales channel within the US as Pexip scales its business in the region.Role and Responsibilities:Focus on outbound prospecting activity with the phone, email and sales toolsFollow up and handle inbound leads through online web sales and marketing channelsUnderstand customer needs and requirementsAchieve monthly sales development metrics Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales executive for further development and closureMaintain and expand pipeline of prospectsPerform effective video demos to prospectsRequired Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience working in a professional setting Can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyondHumble and willing to always learnStrong interpersonal communication skillsAble to grasp new technology and communicate value to prospective customersTrack record of over-achieving sales development metricsProficient with corporate productivity and web presentation toolsStrong listening and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyAbility to work with CRM and marketing tools such as Salesforce or similar toolsWillingness to adjust working hours to accommodate multiple time-zones About Pexip:Pexip provides a unique approach to video communication on any device and across traditionally incompatible technologies such as traditional video conferencing, Microsoft Skype for Business, WebRTC in-browser video, and mobile.
