Howell's Heating & Air is seeking a self-motivated, career focused, customer driven individual to help us expand our Commercial Service team. Howell's is known for delivering the best in light and medium commercial service in Central Virginia. Summary/Objective: The Commercial Service manager is responsible for management and leadership of a sales team, customer service representatives, technicians and apprentices. Your responsible for driving a culture of safety, continual education, training, exceptional internal and external customer service and talent recruitment. Essential functions: Oversee manage and train Service personnel Meet / exceed department revenue and profit goals Improve operational methods and procedures Develop strategy to increase new maintenance sales and increase existing contract retention Work closely with Commercial Construction to ensure seamless transition from construction client to service contract client Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in business or graduate of a 2-year post-secondary program Minimum 5+ years' experience in Commercial HVAC 3 years' Management experience Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills Must be proficient in Microsoft windows, Office and excel and able to learn new computer skills Must be a self-starter, self-directed and able to work with and lead a team Must be able to pass a drug test, background screening (driving and criminal) Must be Company insurable The work environment includes but is not limited to: Office environment sitting, standing and occasionally climbing ladders in varying temperatures and weather conditions Limited travel may be required (rarely overnight).
