Support the Customer Service functions and duties as they relate to fulfilling customer purchase orders. Use strong organizational, communication and math skills to support the Customer Service Representative (CSR) team for prompt shipments. Scope of responsibilities include working with the CSR team to manage and allocate available finished goods inventory with pending purchase orders (POs) to fulfill customer POs on time. Must be able to coordinate and be involved with internal supply chain functions defined as transportation, intercompany transfers, inventory replenishment coordination, knowledge of warehouse and storage functions and participation in daily/weekly replenishing functions and meetings. Ability to make effective cost vs. service decisions; Attention to detail; Strong multitasker; Strong follow-up skills; Ability to adapt to fast and continuous changes in available inventory levels; Ability to prioritize and make fact-based decisions; Strong personality that is not easily distracted. Job Requirements: Daily Tasks: 3rd Party Logistics interaction regarding prepaid shipments, management of Quad Ave warehouse finished goods inventory transfers, transportation and claims analysis, and collect/customer pickup order management Monument Street to-and-from Warehouse inventory transfers (Materials & Finished Goods) Understanding of Warehouse Fulfillment Processes (Materials & Finished Goods), Transportation (Truckload, LTL, 3Rd Party Logistics) & Operation Finished Goods Inventory Tracking & Planning Understanding of MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) Understanding of Order Entry and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Working knowledge of Finished Goods Output and Routing Understanding of material booking/processing/receiving to support CSR role. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Minimum High School Diploma with 3.0 GPA Experience: Some work experience in an office environment requiring multi-tasking, Order Management, Customer Service, Distribution, Transportation, Warehousing Knowledge Level: Working knowledge of office administration and customer service; Exceptional math skills, accurate and detailed; Strong computer skills and a good knowledge base of software; Business acumen is important; Strong communication and Organizational Skills. Equipment Operation: Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Ability to master various reporting systems, customer portals. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Hearing and Vision - normal or corrected sufficient to enable the employee to perform the essential duties of the job. Ability to communicate and present within a group, clearly and effectively, to perform the essential functions of the job. Strong and professional communication skills via telephone, and electronic means. Ability to articulate clearly, strong written skills and grammar. Mobility to navigate office, warehouse, manufacturing plant areas, and steps to carry out the essential duties of the position.
